The bombs bursting in air have been lighting our neighborhood for the past three days. Yesterday we bought a few fire crackers, marking the first time that Daddy has purchased explosives from a fireworks stand. As we went on our evening walk, Mommy and Adam chanted "BOOM", every time we heard the fireworks. Unlike last year Adam really enjoyed the noise and lights. He was delighted tonight as he watched our "candles", as he called them, against the backdrop of our neighbors much bigger displays. How grateful we are to live in this country. How grateful we are for all those who have worked, fought, and given their lives to make it what it is today, and for those who continue to do so. Thank you.
