To keep on track with the goal of taking a picture a day, around bedtime the question is often asked "Did you take a picture of Adam today?".
After a long day of playing Adam was ready for sleep. He spent the day cruising all over the house. He is getting so fast. At one point he discovered the mop and was pushing and pulling it along the kitchen floor. He is trying to be a big boy. He even looks more grown up while he sleeps.
Adam was pretty tuckered out after a busy day of tourism. We spent the day in Newport, Rhode Island window shopping, museum hopping, and mansion gawking.
Adam has had a cold and has not been feeling well. To help him breath and sleep better Mommy has been propping him up with the Boppy. He is enjoying snuggling up to it. He looks so peaceful while he sleeps.
After a long day of running errands, sleep was a welcome friend. Our day went something like this: We dropped Daddy off at work about 10:30 am, then we were off to go visiting teaching, followed by a trip to Woodbridge to go to Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts looking for micro-fleece (which they no longer carry - strike one) & picking up some clothes on clearance at Toys R Us. Our return trip was via back roads due to I-95 North being a parking lot. Next stop: Wal-Mart in Kingstown (unfortunately they did not have any Dreft spray stain remover - strike two), then over to the Kingstown Toys R Us in quest of Dreft spray (they also were out - strike three). By the time we got home it was a little after 5pm, and then we picked Daddy up from work at 6:30. Whew! No wonder our little boy was so tired. What a long day!
Adam is now spending the beginning of his night in the crib. The bassinet has gone into retirement. He is now falling asleep before Mommy and Daddy go to bed most nights (so nice). When he wakes up to go potty, he comes to bed with us, often partaking of a midnight snack. Our little boy is growing up.
Adam now wakes us up when he needs to go potty in the middle of the night, by crying. We carry him to his potty chair and set him on the seat. He wants to be near us and will cuddle up to whomever is taking him. He then empties his bladder. We get him dressed again and take him back to bed, where he immediately falls asleep. As all this takes place he rarely opens his eyes. He has started falling asleep on the pot before he gets a chance to relieve himself, only to have to wait until the next time his little body arouses him with the need to go. He has defiantly inherited the gene to sleep.
Daddy and Adam sleeping just before Mommy woke Daddy up to prepare for our upcoming St. Patrick's Day party.
We went over to Stephen and Meredith Aquila's to celebrate the night before Steve's birthday. Adam joined the ranks of the countless who cannot make it through a whole game of Monopoly (or in this case, Bookopoly.)
Adam went to bed early tonight, before we got a picture of him in motion. He had spent the day playing hard. He has really been enjoying sitting or laying on a blanket in the living room, playing with his toys.
Our sweet little boy is growing so fast. He barely fits in the bassinet. He is also teetering enough on the edge of mobility that soon he may attempt to climb out. It is time to make finishing his bumper pad for his crib a priority.
While Daddy napped Adam sat beside him, quietly playing. He takes good care of his Daddy.
Friends of a feather should flock together. Today Adam fashioned his yellow ducky outfit, while he played with his feathered friends. He loves his stuffed animals, Goose & Bear-Duck. He always gets happy to see either one. He was also happy to discover when he awoke from a nap, that Meredith & Stephen Aquila had come to play games. A day well spent with feathers and friends.
Daddy snapped this picture while he was getting ready for work. Mommy and Adam were tired because Adam had a hard time sleeping last night. Adam loves to snuggle with his parents.
